Recently, JMC introduced a radio frequency identification (RFID) system for identifying and marking stray cattle and cows across the city. With this system, the chip needs to be injected under the skin of the cow. Then, with the help of the reader, you can identify the relevant information of the cow.
The RFID system was initiated by JMC President Arvind Kotwal. Rahul Sarkar, manager of ID Tech Solution Private Limited, gave a brief introduction to the benefits of RFID tagging systems. At the same time, he also did a practical demonstration of the injection of RFID tags for stray cattle.
He said that with the use of radio frequency identification systems, JMC can handle the threat of stray cattle on the road and prevent such times as stealing cattle and smuggling. He added, “Using RFID systems, we can reduce labor costs by accurately tracking animals. This system can save records through software and accurately provide information on vaccines and other drugs to animals. This system can also manage animal cruelty. ”
Manager Rahul said: “It will also link RFID data to other records, weight, genetics and animal health, making dairy management easy and safe.”
